About Dua Lipa:
Born and raised in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents Dua Lipa signed to Warner Records in 2015, releasing her self titled debut in 2017 which featured the hit singles, 'Be The One', 'IDGAF', 'Hotter Than Hell' & her first UK #1 hit 'New Rules'.

This isn't meant to be "better" than the original album. This is meant to replicate a live DJ set you'd hear in a club, festival or late night on dance radio. It's also perfection during a time when most of us can't go clubbing. 🖤✨

El día que lo publicó estaba en el trabajo y lo escuché desde Spotify. Sinceramente me había decepcionado un poco, porque FN es el álbum que más he escuchado este año y las expectativas estaban muy altas. Pero cuándo descubrí estos visuals que conectaban a la perfección con cada tema, Me fue gustando más y más. Ahora es mi favorito, 51 minutos de perfección audiovisual y Love Is religion está preciosa. Queen Dua Lipa salvó el 2020 💕

This project is very ambitious. Dua decided to include some remixed tracks which, in my opinion, are meant more for a niche audience rather than the “general public” who definitely like OG FT more. But I think she knows that: this album is not meant to replace or be better than the first one, but gives us a glimpse of how a clubby- raving dj set would sound like. I love the idea of releasing it as a non-stop mixtape! Some remixes are very underground and won’t be fully appreciated unless you really like that type of sound (by me neither I’m honest); like Preatty Please, Masters at Work, ugh garage house I’m not really into it, or Don’t start now, Yaeji, she has a very unique sound that flows from house to something near to trap topped with mellow vocals, I’m not a fan actually, of course “our” OG DSN is unequaled and we will never stop listening to it! My favs are Love Again, Love is Religion, Physical That kind of Woman and Future Nostalgia, which are the most “retro” in sound, I love 70s and 80s music so when I hear strings and synths I can’t help but love the tracks! Levitating and Boys will be Boys are growers for me. Giving us a full visualizer is the cherry on top! I think next step for Dua will be the Deluxe version, maybe with a new full release of the OG album (and forgive me for that, but I’ve listened to Ball and Chain and If it Ain’t me and I’m still hoping for these two to be released!).

This album is BRILLIANT! Dua's voice goes amazingly well with Madonna's and Gwen's, the remixes are full of throwbacks to the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, it samples Neneh Cherry and Stevie Nicks, the visuals are LIT, just for the effort, it would get a 10/10! But it gets a 10/10 cause it's brilliant!

The original album is a pop classic, & we need Pt. 2!! “Like” if u agree!!! Also, for the ppl who are saying this isn’t as good.. it’s called club nostalgia for a reason, it’s meant to be like a live set you would hear if u were out at a club. Totally different vibes. I think a superb music videography moment is for animated montage in Dua Lipa's song "Love Again" that has lyrics "you got me in love again" of nostalgia theme. At the moment in the video Lipa sings "you got me in love again" an animated pigeon walks across the subway train scene against restraints of being wrapped up in audio cassette tape, triggering reflection about cassette tapes, that gives one nostalgia, or "gets one in love again", while the audio tape is music themed, fitting with music themed video elements like the jukebox & Lipa's headphones. At this congruence of association & moment in time, maybe celebrating or in relation to the associations, dancing music robots appear on both sides of Lipa. I appreciate the music videography!

The visuals bring to life some of these remixes in a way I did not expect. The visuals for Love is Religion are perfect for the song and surprised how well Levitating Remix video blends with the animations.
