Ok so to clear any confusion for the title: Swans are known to sing a beautiful song right before dying; they know that their death is coming. Dua Lipa says in the chorus “This is not a swan song”, meaning that this isn’t her last song (her last “fight”, as she’s supposed to be Alita in this video) and that she’s not dying.

How did this song not blow up? The background? The chorus? AMAZINGG

*to anyone who is confused with the title:* swan song is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement. I guess she uses this phrase as a rebellious shout out to prove that she'll not give up but instead she'll keep fighting.

This has to be one of the most creative music videos I've ever seen. "Alita Battle Angel" has to be one of my favourite films and this song from the end credits is so cool and this music video of "Swan Song" has to be even cooler for its artistic imagery . Dua Lipa's voice is utterly gorgeous and to cap it off she looks as haunted as she sounds, also given she's wearing all black which actually makes her look like the black swan to Alita's white swan as Alita begins to decipher her true origins and take back the rights that she has as a young woman and an individual to the original course that she led in a new body in a new life. This is 100% a truly favourite song and music video by Due Lipa for sure.

Swan Song means a final performance of something, and its definitely not the end, its the beginning of it This generation is the start of breaking the silence, I like how Alita is the symbolism of true justice for the people that stayed silent for so long, she's the interpretation of freedom and breaking the unjustified silence that people can no longer take, same as the time where we are in right now. As we speak millions of people are fighting for what is the "justice" everyone truly deserves. It's not about fighting or the violence, its about retrieving what the bullcrap people have taken from them, we can all be Alita just like what she said “I do not stand by in the presence of evil!”

I saw the movie without knowing anything about it. I had low expectations, I was just there to see something for the sake of it, not to specifically see _Alita: Battle Angel_ but I was genuinely, pleasantly surprised. The storyline was interesting, the CGI was intense but not bad and the romance wasn't extremely cringeworthy, if a little cheesy. The vibe I got at the end of the movie (and after learning it was based on a manga) was that the story is far from finished and without a doubt, there will be another movie in a year or so. Looking forward to it!!

But she never stopped since the supposed meaning of the song is this isn’t her last song/battle, she won’t stay quiet/she won’t stop. She’ll always fight no matter what!
