About Dua Lipa:
Born and raised in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents Dua Lipa signed to Warner Records in 2015, releasing her self titled debut in 2017 which featured the hit singles, 'Be The One', 'IDGAF', 'Hotter Than Hell' & her first UK #1 hit 'New Rules'.

She deserved a 10-12 minute set. Future Nostalgia was one of the best albums of 2020 and this mealy 5-minute performance doesn't do justice, but she still slayed.

Can we just appreciate that Dua Lipa never mock her haters and ask for public sympathy during her "Meme" era after receiving criticism due to her lack of stage Presence instead she improved herself as an Entertainer and Artist. This gurrrl saved Pop when she released Future Nostalgia, I really adore and respect her as an Artist 👏

You either don't know anything about pop music history, or you just being a super oblivious fan. Literally, the whole album borrows a slew of elements from 70,80, and 90 songs and sounds exactly like a well-crafted rehash of everything that has been released before. There is absolutely nothing fresh about this album.

This is truly a work of art. The whole thing is just amazing. Her talent, the back drop, her back up dancers and singers, that dress! She was flawless in this performance, and so fierce. I can't even imagine how much hard work she put into rehearsing for this. Dua is one of those artists that will still be popular in 20-30 years from now. She has that star power, and her personality is so charming, even the way she speaks is seductive. She is quite literally a Goddess, and not just for her beauty, but THAT voice as well!

yeah along with teenage dream, there were epic albums of gaga and rihanna and beyonce around those years. as someone who experienced that music as a teenager, i really cant find any satisfaction in todays pop music except for ariana and dua. still not completely satisfied but, you know they totally stand out

@@lilyfaulkner4801 No, not really. Even for Taylor, Folklore produced like two or three big songs. I meant that these artists you mentioned definitely produced good songs throughout their recent albums, but I don't think any of them were to the caliber of Future Nostalgia that even people who aren't Dua Lipa fans can just listen to any song at random and feel like they really enjoyed the song without having to take a sit-down and relisten. Even for me, a Demi Lovato fan, I think DWTD/TAOSO is a strong album and I can listen to it straight through, but I won't say that 100% of the album everybody could vibe with even if they weren't a Demi fan too. ((So this isn't a diss at all with the other artists mentioned, just really, Future Nostalgia was unbeatably strong and I think not even Doja Cat's Hot Pink could beat how consistently strong all the songs in Future Nostalgia were))

She was clearly following the choreography then and it’s doing the same now. The only thing that changed was the money involved. The “criticism” was bullying and unnecessary, she didn’t changed because of that, she is just doing her best with the opportunities she got, as always ❤️

I remember seeing an interview with her about a year ago where she said the label was concerned about releasing an album full of dance-centric bops during a global pandemic, but it turns out, that's *exactly* what we needed to help us get through it.
